Hangar 7 Studios is El Paso's newest drive-up event venue. with 7.5 acres of parking space, and a 55 ft.-wide projector screen, events can be enjoyed safely while still adhering to the current social distancing requirements.
This building is commonly known as the former El Paso Natural Gas Hangar, it was built in 1957 and became vacant around 2000.
It sits on the corner of Airport Road and Leigh Fisher, the building is noticeable because it has a very unique and prominent cantilever architecture which are the beams projecting from the top, they help stabilize the building.
We are working on making Hangar 7 Studios into an event space for El Paso. This is just the first of many new projects we hope to roll out to invite the community to come to airport for more than just flights. Our first event will be a partnership with El Paso Live. We are so excited to be hosting part of the Plaza Classic Film festival.
Movies on the Fly will run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in August, visit elpasolive.com for schedule and tickets.
