El Paso International Airport, Texas Airports Combine Efforts to Restore Passenger Confidence
El Paso International Airport teams up with other Texas Airports through The Texas Commercial Airport Association (TCAA) to create a campaign for restoring passenger confidence with a Video Pledge and Activity/Coloring book.
COVID-19 has had a devastating effect on tourism and the travel community, but through it all Texas airports have remained open.
For the safety of stakeholders and passengers, El Paso International Airport and other Texas Airports implemented protocols and procedures in order to restore consumer confidence. This special initiative was created to inform passengers of safety protocols and to remind everyone that the Texas airports are ready to fly when they are!
TCAA is committed to ensuring that passengers know they can Fly Safe Texas. The hashtag #FlySafeTexas reminds passengers that safety remains our number one priority. Airport executives created a video safety promise pledge to be shared on social media platforms and websites.
Finally, just in time for back to school, an educational Coloring/Activity Book was created for primary students that may also be accessed via website and social media platforms. The book will be free for download.
Participating Texas airports included; Austin Bergstrom International Airport, Corpus Christi International Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Dallas Love Field Airport, El Paso International Airport, George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport, and San Antonio International Airport.
